Reviews & Statements

"This book covers a wide range of Enterprise Architecture (EA) issues in a way that reflects many aspects of a global EA discussion that has been going on for nearly twenty years. You will find some variance in the approach and lexicon that contributing authors use in many of the chapters, but you will also find a number of common threads that are an indication of both the richness and diversity of thought in the EA community and of the continuing maturity of EA as a management best practice and a career field for business and technology professionals."

– Dr. Scott Bernard, Carnegie Mellon University

Saha assembles international contributors to overview practical aspects of enterprise architecture. Integrating theory and concepts with field-tested methods and implementation challenges, contributors provide insight into the impact of effective enterprise architecture on IT governance, portfolio management, risks, and outsourcing, and illustrate development methods and the process cycle with case studies and detailed examples. With its strong practical orientation, the book will be useful for CIOs, IT/IS managers, architects, analysts, and designers, as well as line-of-business managers, CTOs of business software companies, MIS and IT educators, and researchers.
